About the Role
We are looking for passionate, motivated, and student-focused Academic Counselors to join our team. The ideal candidate will guide students in choosing the right education pathways, programs, and career opportunities. This role requires excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a genuine interest in helping students build their careers.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel students on courses, colleges, career options, and academic pathways.
Understand student needs and recommend suitable education programs.
Handle walk-in inquiries, outbound calls, and follow-ups.
Explain program details, admission processes, fee structures, and training modules.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and conversions.
Achieve weekly and monthly counseling/conversion targets.
Participate in webinars, seminars, campus events, and student engagement activities.
Build strong rapport with students and parents for smooth onboarding.
Collaborate with internal teams for documentation, admissions, and post-enrollment support.
Required Skills & Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong listening, understanding, and persuasive abilities.
Ability to explain complex information in a simple and clear manner.
Positive attitude, patience, and a student-first approach.
Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM tools, data entry).
Eligibility Criteria
Education: Graduate in any discipline (PG preferred but not mandatory).
Experience:
Freshers with good communication skills can apply.
Experienced counselors (up to 6 years) will be offered higher salary brackets.
Ability to work full-time from the office in the listed locations.
